- Get the ARCC Proceedings indexed by an indexing service
(Avery?) [currently part of ARCC Journal initiative]
- List papers from the ARCC Proceedings for inclusion on
the Soc Arch Hist WWW site
- Develop a cumulative index to ARCC publications [part of the ARCC Journal initiative]
- Develop a list (WWW) of architecture-related
organizations (start with DC attendees)
- Develop a list of listservers (related to architectural
research)
- Develop a list of Federal agency research/grant WWW pages [adopted but needs continuing updating]
- Ask Don Watson to outline his suggestion for a
"skin-shedding" workshop (done)
- Architecture-related organizations should get together to
coordinate information sharing [part of ARCC/EAAE initiative]
- Develop ARCC archives [new archivist initiative in place]
- Develop general index of ARCC materials held by various
parties[part of ARCC Journal initiative]
- Investigate NAAB criteria that deal with research /
research methods
- Instigate outreach to university presidents /
vice-presidents / provosts
- Provide plaudits for past leaders of ARCC (met with
mixed opinions)
- Review ARCC Awards program especially w/r/t
involving students[King Medal in place]
- Activate ARCC interest networks (links to agencies, links
to AIA PIAs)
- Develop a formal "What is ARCC" presentation
- Promote the concept of "architecture" to
Federal agencies
- Consider active ARCC involvement in/at ACSA
Administrators Conference (DC, Nov 1998) (this
is in place)
- Support U of Ariz POE initiative (information was
circulated to all ARCC reps)
- Keep interested parties involved with ARCC activities
- Consider ARCC organizational "structure"
(student members, multi-reps, etc.)
- Consider "publishing" on ARCC WWW site
(abstracts, papers?) (reviews for 1998 Spring
Research Conference were Web-based)
- Add search capabilities to ARCC WWW site
- Cooperate in move to get "A/R" successor
updated and up on the WWW
- Task groups as established on Sat. Nov. 8:
